The Battsen brand and group are a joint venture corporation between expert developers of batteries, electric engines and bicycles - where stock majority is owned by DGN Ltd.

The Battsen Group's goal is to build a globally recognized product quality standard. Battsen products are designed and build to perform better and live longer than competing brands - the cooperation between battery engineers and electric engine engineers has been crucial in achieving this. The first Battsen electric bikes were introduced to the market in 2006 and the Battsen philosophy of better performance and superior quality was well received.

The Battsen torque censor, electric engine and battery are all developed by Battsen engineers with the goal of creating one functioning organism and not three separate working parts - a goal we have succeeded in completely. The gains are increased efficiency of battery usage, utilizing the higher performance of electric energy directed by an immediately reacting Torque pedal censor.
